This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid subscriptions to Oro AI Agent (the "Service"), operated by Oro Shin ("Oro", "we", "us"). It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where these terms refer to "you", they mean the person or business using the Service.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers paid subscriptions to the Service. It describes where you request a refund, when a statutory right to a refund applies, and how credits are treated when you cancel or change your plan. It does not set out prices or credit allowances; those are on our pricing page. Nothing here limits a mandatory right you have under the law that applies to you as a consumer.
2. How subscriptions are sold
Oro AI Agent is distributed as a mobile app. On Android, paid subscriptions are sold through Google Play using Google Play Billing. When you subscribe on Android, Google processes your payment and is the seller of record for that transaction, and the purchase is governed by Google Play's terms in addition to this policy. Because Google handles the transaction, Google's own refund window and process apply to it, and you request a refund for such a purchase directly through Google Play.
3. Refunds through Google Play
For a subscription bought on Android, the way to request a refund is through Google Play itself, within Google's refund window and subject to Google's process. You can start that request on Google's help page: Get a refund on Google Play. Google decides these requests under its own policy. If Google declines a request that you believe we should honour, contact us and we will review it in line with the rest of this policy.
4. EU and UK consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract, such as a subscription bought online, without giving a reason.
This right is lost once you have expressly asked for the service to begin immediately and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance has started. Starting a subscription does exactly this: the Service and its credit allowance become available to you at once, so by starting it you ask for immediate performance and accept the loss of the 14-day withdrawal right for the part already provided. This does not affect any other statutory right you have as a consumer.
5. Credits already used
Credits that the agent has already consumed are not refundable. When the agent carries out work, it uses real computing resources, and that compute has already been paid for by the time the work runs. Returning credits that have been spent would not recover that cost, so used credits cannot be refunded. If you believe credits were consumed because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will look into it.
6. Cancellation and renewal
You can cancel a subscription at any time. When you cancel, the subscription does not renew: it runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep your plan and its features until that period ends. Cancelling part-way through a paid period does not, on its own, entitle you to a refund of the remaining days, and we do not pro-rate a period you have already paid for. If you subscribed on Android, you manage and cancel the subscription through Google Play.
7. Credits on downgrade or cancellation
Credits have no cash value. Whatever is unused in a plan's allowance cannot be exchanged for money and is not, by itself, refundable. When you downgrade, your allowance becomes the one that comes with your new plan from the point the change takes effect. When a subscription ends after cancellation, your account moves to the free plan, and the free plan's allowance applies from then on. A change to your plan or allowance is not a monetary refund and does not create one.
8. Requesting a refund outside Google Play
Some purchases are not made through Google Play, and there are cases where you believe a refund is due and Google Play is not the right channel. For those, email us at support@oroshin.site. Include the email address on your account and the transaction id for the payment, so that we can find the purchase and review your request. The transaction id appears on the receipt from wherever you paid.
9. How long we take
We aim to respond to a refund request within five business days of receiving it. Where we agree that a refund is due, we then process it, and any refund we approve is returned to the original payment method. How quickly the money reaches you after that depends on your payment method and on the store or provider that handled the payment.
10. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. Starting a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer before contacting us usually takes longer to resolve, and while such a dispute is open we may need to suspend the account associated with the disputed payment until it is closed. Where a chargeback is raised for a purchase you did make and use, we may contest it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email. The version in force when you make a purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
12. How to contact us
